We took advantage of the nice weather this weekend (ok maybe it was hotter than it was nice) and had a little family BBQ. We brought Chloe and Claire outside briefly and Uncle Johny took them for a dip in the pool. The girls love bath time each night, but they still don't know what to make of theswimming pool.
Well it is Wednesday evening and we are still alive. Jamie and I are still getting used to both of us being back to work and away from the girls all day. All in all I think we are holding things together pretty well. As you can see from the video I posted last week, both girls know how to roll from their front to their back and viceversa. It is pretty much impossible to get either one of them to stay in one spot for any length of time now.
We took Chloe and Claire next door for a BBQ with friends last night. The girls were pretty good and enjoyed the extra attention.
Jamie's parents also moved into their new apartment yesterday. Jamie is back at work and Grandma will be on baby duty during the day. An added perk is that we will be able to drop the girls off at the Grandparent's and go out once in a while. We had a great time last night, but I think we are both looking forward to a night sans kids sometime in the near future.
First Claire learned to use her head to help roll her over from her tummy to her back, then Chloe learned to use her legs to help her roll from her back to her tummy. Here is a quick video I took earlier today of both of the girls showing of their new found skills.
Well daddy got a new camera so that means more photos of the girls! I'm not really sure how to work this newfangled contraption, but here are some shots I took earlier this evening.
YAY!!! Claire rolled from her tummy to her back! What a big girl! Now it is Chloe's turn. And they both slept 8-6 last night, double YAY!
